Hello 2017, Goodbye Crappy 2016.

Hello, hi and welcome! Hope you are all having a great start to 2017!

I thought I would do a chatty post as my first ever post of 2017 and just talk about what's been on my mind recently.

So 2016 was a wild whirlwind of a year - it was for me anyway.

I moved back to the uk and made some decisions that looking back probably weren't for the best. But i am now happy in a job that I enjoy(most of the time) and I have met two life long friends because of it.

LOVE/RELATIONSHIPS.

So 2016 wasn't successful in the relationship department. At all. Like a lot of people I have trouble trusting people and letting them in. Last year I did that. I don't regret it because it's a life lesson, but it's a lesson that's been really tough. I had let someone in who was a friend from school, I believed we could be more and I was happy, for a while.

But all good things must come to an end and I was letting myself get treated far less than I deserved. I was allowing myself to be taken for granted, and looking back I wish I could slap myself.

I had to learn it the hard way that sometimes you are too much or too little for someone. That's not your fault, but just life. And it sucks.

I kept accepting behaviours in hopes that it would turn out good in the end but it didn't. I was always the one upset in the end and it was all just a messy blur. Now, I'm okay and getting over it but moving on is always difficult so I take each day as it comes at the minute.

The best quote I've read recently is: "To heal a wound you must stop touching it."

FRIENDSHIPS.

In 2016 I lost and gained friends which is just a natural way of life. I believed I had made friends abroad in Switzerland and Berlin but I now only stay in contact with my friends I made in Switzerland. My Berlin friends seemed to have all lost their phones..

FAMILY.

2016 taught me that without family you have nothing, whether it's your given blood family, or a chosen family that you've had to make yourself. I am thankful to have a mum who I can rely on and trust to be there for me through whatever. She is my rock and the reason I'm here writing this post.

This year I also was able to build back a relationship with my dad. A proper father/daughter bond. We've been able to do things together and have little jokes between us, go on random drives and he's helped me with career queries I've had.

MYSELF.

I have learnt things about myself this year that I never knew:

  • I really love cheese.
  • I can be so confident when I need to be.
  • I am my own best friend.
  • I'm really blunt some times.
  • I don't look awful with my hair tied up.
  • I hate photos of me without eye liner.

It is so important you learn to love yourself, I don't fully love myself yet but I'm a work in progress - we all are. I've learnt that there are things I don't like about my face, my body, my personality but that's okay because no one ever said we have to like everything about ourselves.

I don't really have anything else to write about, I just wanted to get stuff off my chest really, and I'm glad I have.

Here's to a prosperous 2017, I hope it's filled with love, positive lessons and good friends!

Thanks for reading!

November & December Favourite Songs.

November & December Songs:

Hello, hi and welcome! Sorry I haven't posted in a while - I'm really quite useless at it aren't I? The past couple of months have been crazy, emotional and jam packed full I've hardly had time to rest!

But now that it's the festive season and I have an hour to spare I can give you my favourite songs of November AND December.

CLEAN BANDIT, SEAN PAUL & ANNE MARIE - ROCKABYE.

I've been loving Sean Paul and all the songs he's been featuring on lately but this has been my favorite. I think Anne-Marie is the underdog in the industry at the minute and isn't given enough credit for her talent!

Favourite Lyrics: "She tells him 'your life ain't gonna be nothing my life, you're gonna go and have a good life'."

THE VAMPS & MATOMA - ALL NIGHT.

Not really a huge fan of them but the songs of theirs I do like I LOVE. I really love this song. I'm not really feeling Brad's hair in the video but he still remains my fave. I've loved this song for when I'm getting ready to go out especially.

Favourite Lyrics: "Wide awake that's okay, as long as I'm with you."

ZAYN & TAYLOR SWIFT - I DON'T WANNA LIVE FOREVER.

I was a little confused as to why and how the collab happened but it did, it really did. It's for the new Fifty Shades of Grey film which is even more random but it's 2016, the year Bowie died, Trump became president and Brexit happened guys. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but then I literally had it on for like two straight days, so..

Their voices sound good together which is surprising too.

Favourite Lyrics: "I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home."

TORY LANEZ -

LUV -

I have fallen in love with this guys voice, he could sing me the McDonald's menu and I'd love it. He's featured on other songs and I had wondered if he had his own and when I found his EP I was over joyed. I love this song so much, it also reminds me of being in Lloyds with Mel and us both nearly dropping to the floor when it came on..

Favourite Lyrics: "Everybody falls in love some times, I don't know about you but it ain't a crime."

SAY IT -

This has been my favourite song in November and December most probably, I have LOVED it. My mum even asks me to put it on now. It's just a tune, you can either get ready to it or chill to it depending on how you interpret it.

Favourite Lyrics: "You're gonna have to do more than just say it, you're gonna have to show more when you do it."

TAYLOR SWIFT - WONDERLAND.

This song helped me this past couple months during a bit of a tough time in my love life(I'm okay now). Everyone has at least one Taylor Swift song they love and mine is this one(and Clean and Begin Again).

Favourite Lyrics: "It's all fun and games until somebody loses their mind." And "You search the world for something to make you feel like what we had but in the end in wonderland we both went mad."

MICHAEL BUBLÈ & MEGHAN TRAINOR - SOMEDAY MAYBE.

I have been loving Mr Bublè this festive season(I've had his Christmas album on repeat at work). I've also been loving this song, their voices really compliment each other and it's such a upbeat, happy song.

Favourite Lyrics: "I won't give my love away, darling I'm forever only yours."

LITTLE MIX -

NO MORE SAD SONGS -

Another song that's helped me loads recently. It's such a feel good song that just instantly puts me in a good mood, especially in the mornings.

Favorite Lyrics: "Stay out all night, go where the music's loud so I don't have to think about it, I'm begging please don't play no more sad songs."

POWER -

The beginning of this song gives me so much life, I could listen to it on repeat. Such a huge tune I hope they release it as a single.

Favorite Lyrics: "I'll let you come take the wheel as long as you don't forget, I got the power."

OOPS ft CHARLIE PUTH -

One of my top favourites from their album. I thought their performance of it on X Factor was a little boring though which was disappointing..

Favourite Lyrics: "Oops, we broke up we're better off as friends, now I accidentally need you I don't know what to do."

KEHLANI -

CRZY -

I am so ready for Kehlani's album, I'm still in love with her first one. I wish people would stop comparing her to Jhenè Aiko, Tinashe and Rihanna though, they're all women of colour yes, but women who all sing differently. This song literally makes me feel crazy afterwards, LOVE.

Favorite Lyrics: "If I gotta be a bitch ima be a bad one."

ADVICE -

No matter what music style you like you'll be able to relate to this song, I hope she makes this a single. I could listen to this forever.

Favourite Lyrics: "I almost lost my mind, I left my self behind. I took a chance on this, I took too big a risk, 'cus how is the man of my dreams, not a man of his words and how is the man for me just a man who makes me hurt?"

DAYA - I.C.Y.M.I

Still love this song so much, it's just all my feelings right now.

Favourite Lyrics: "in case you missed it, let me repeat it - I'm all the way over you, over you."

BRIDGIT MENDLER - DO YOU MISS ME AT ALL.

I don't know why I love this song so much because it is quite a strange one. It starts quite chill then changes and yeah, it's quite a strange song.

Favorite Lyrics: "Do you wonder what I'm up to, without you? Do you wanna leave a message on my phone saying 'I'm coming home'?"

BEYONCÉ - 7/11.

This came on in revs and ever since I've listened to it at least twice a day. I don't really understand the lyrics or what '7/11' means but, its Beyoncé.

Favorite Lyrics: "Smack, smack, smack like you don't care - I know you care."

ANNE-MARIE - ALARM.

Still a big tune I cannot get over, I love her voice so, so much too. Can't wait for her album.

Favourite Lyrics: "Bang, bang two shots fired, man down one fool, one liar. Ring, ring trust gone missing, house on fire."

Thanks for reading, see you in the new year! Have a lovely Christmas everyone.

Little Mix - Glory Days Album Review

Hello, hi and welcome! I've been so excited for the new Little Mix album, mainly because I'll be seeing them three times next years so I wanted the album to be amazing!

Let's just get straight into the review shall we?

SHOUT OUT TO MY EX.

The perfect middle finger to that ex who hurt you. It's full of girl power, indirects and "oh, oh, oh's".

Favourite Lyrics: "Hey look at me now, well I'm all the way up I swear you'll never bring me down."

TOUCH.

I wasn't sure if I liked this song which you'll find I feel the same throughout the album, but its really grown on me and I can imagine this will be the first song on when I'm getting ready to go out or when Becky and I go on a car trip.

Favourite Lyrics: "Just a touch of your love is enough to knock me off of my feet."

F.U.

Love this when I'm walking to work I feel like saying F.U to everyone after I listen to this(I don't) but it makes you feel energised which is what everyone needs.

Favourite Lyrics: "I wanna say 'shoo, shoo' I wanna say 'screw you'."

OOPS Ft Charlie Puth.

I really love this song, the second I heard this I knew I was going to love it, its just got that vibe. It makes me really happy when I sing along, its just so uplifting.

Favourite Lyrics: "We had a good run, we messed around and had some good fun, guess it turns out I lost a good one."

YOU GOTTA NOT.

I've liked this for a while as they released it early. This is super pop, fiery and damn right cool and i like where they're taking their music, this song is quite different to what they've done before.

Favourite Lyrics: "And everybody warned me, you gotta not. But you're kinda hot so I thought why not, oh well."

DOWN AND DIRTY.

I'm sorry but the beginning to this sounds just like Black Widow by Iggy Azalea. Not a favourite at all and it makes me so sad. I don't think it suits the album, I don't think it sounds like them or their image and its not really a very good song. Sorry girls..

POWER.

I wasn't sure if I was going to love this or loathe it but I really love it! It makes me want to go out and buy a motorbike and just drive around singing this. I like Jesy rapping I think she does a better job than Leigh-Anne(sorry not sorry).

Favourite Lyrics: "You make it rain, but I make it, I make it, I make it shower. You should know I'm the one who got the power."

YOUR LOVE.

Their voices sound incredible on this song, I love the backing track too. It's a really relaxing song to chill to as well. Favourite definitely.

Favourite Lyrics: "Come and kiss me on the moonlight."

NOBODY LIKE YOU.

I like this song but I feel there's something missing from it somewhere, I'm just not of sure what. Their voices sound strong and the harmonies are on point!

Favourite Lyrics: "I tried goodbye a hundred times not one of them true."

NO MORE SAD SONGS.

This is the perfect song for someone going through a break up or has a broken heart at the minute, its kind of like the song you'd want to hear when experiencing it. I really like it.

Favourite Lyrics: "I keep trying to put this behind me, I still wanna know, whose taking you home."

PRIVATE SHOW.

The beginning of this reminds me of JLO - Get Right..anyone else?? It's quite 90's RnB driven. Not a favourite, but still extremely funky.

Favourite Lyrics: "To get high you gotta get low."

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

I'm not sure still if I like this i think I need a little bit more time with it, its neither here nor there for me.

BEEP BEEP.

This song is totally random, I don't think it suits the album or their image really. It's more like a song from Grease than a girl band in 2016..

FREAK.

This song is like the older sister to DNA or Lightening, a continuation. It's alright, but it doesn't jump out.

Favourite Lyrics: "Listen to me this is critical, you don't want to unleash this animal."

FAVOURITE SONGS:

- Shout Out To My Ex

- Touch

- OOPS

- You Gotta Not

- Power

LEAST FAVOURITE SONGS:

- Down & Dirty

- Private Show

- Beep Beep

- Freak

RATING OUT OF 10:

O C T O B E R S O N G S 2016

Hello, hi and welcome back!

October has been a crazy month for me, and I've listened to A LOT of music so apologies if this post is a bit brief and simple, I just have a lot of music to get through!

SHAWN MENDES -

Now, I've loved his entire album this month and I also reviewed it so I'm not going to go over the songs again.. My favourites this month have been: Don't Be A Fool, Aftertaste, Honest, Patience and Roses which is on the Deluxe version.

JAMES ARTHUR -

Say You Won't Let Go is still a firm favourite, I'm so glad he's back in my life..

SERMON - This has the perfect 'James Arthur' sound to it and reminds me of a mixture between Get Down and Recovery from his last album.

Favourite Lyrics: "I need you to know you're more than enough, I already know you're deserving of love."

GIGGS - LOCK DOH

I am not shy to the occassional UK grime artist, I must admit. Although I don't usually listen to Giggs, my step brother has played this over and over in his car recently and I became slightly(very) obsessed with it.

Favourite Lyrics: "And my manner was kinda digital and analogue."

HAILEE STEINFELD Ft ZEDD & GREY - STARVING.

I've been a fan of Hailee Steinfeld for around a year now, she has bags of talent and I'm ready for her album, like, now, please. Still in 'me faves.

Favourite Lyrics: "Emotional earthquake, bring on disaster."

DAYA -

SIT STILL, LOOK PRETTY.

I discovered Daya's music early this month and I have played her album over and over, I even bought it on iTunes when I got the chance..This is one of my favourite songs because its nothing to do with being in love or heartbroken; its pure girl power and giving the finger to perfection which every girl should do!

Favourite Lyrics: "I don't wanna be a puppet that you're playing on a string, this queen don't need no king."

HIDE AWAY.

Probably one of the most relatable songs I've ever heard in my life. A song about frustration with guys, trying to find the right one and wondering where all the good ones are.

Favourite Lyrics: "Looking high and low, someone let me know; where do the good boys go to hide away?"

LOVE OF MY LIFE.

Also quite a relatable song for most people, a song basically about liking someone but they aren't the one, they aren't right for you.

Favourite Lyrics: "I could like you until the day that I die, but I'm looking for the love of my life."

I.C.Y.M.I.

The perfect 'I'm over you' song.

Favourite Lyrics: "In case you missed it, you need to let it go and find, baby find something better to do."

CASHMERE CAT Ft SELENA GOMEZ - TRUST NOBODY.

This is my walking to work song, I love it! It gets me started for the day.. I also love Selena Gomez a lot so, anything with her featuring on is an instant favourite.

Favourite Lyrics: " You must be somebody, 'cus I don't trust nobody."

ONEREPUBLIC - COLORS.

I have been loving their new album too, but my favourite song by far is this one. It just makes me feel so happy, it reminds me of Coldplay's - Yellow. I could imagine this song at my wedding - I know that's far ahead but, its me..

Favourite Lyrics: "She said; do you see in shades of grey? Do you need me like I need you that way? I said; I don't wanna lay with another."

JOJO -

I CAN ONLY ft Alessia Cara.

My life was made when Jojo's album dropped, she used to be my favourite female artist when I was younger. When I saw she had done a song with Alessia Cara I was SO happy because I love her too. I love this song, its exactly the style of song I would expect them to write together.

Favourite Lyrics: "I can only say what I wanna say, I can only smoke what I wanna smoke."

LITTLE MIX - SHOUT OUT TO MY EX

I was in two minds about this song at first, I think I would have liked it more if they released it then sang it on X Factor as on X Factor I don't think they showed off as much as they could have done. But now I like it, so all is fine in the world, plus I kind of have to like it as Becky and I are seeing them twice next year..

Favourite Lyrics: "You made my heart break and that made me who I am."

DJ MUSTARD Ft ELLA MAI - 10,000 HOURS.

I think Ella Mai deserves so much recognition, she's so underrated it's ridiculous. I love this song when I'm chilling after a long shift at work, her voice is just perfect.

Favourite Lyrics: "You know every second adds up to a minute, need ten thousand hours, we can be so in love."

DRAKE - FAKE LOVE

This was released randomly and I wasn't ready. I LOVE DRAKE. Still not over the fact he released his tour tickets ONE WEEK before I got paid. Thanks babes.

Favourite Lyrics: "I got fake people showing fake love to me."

DJ KHALED Ft MEGHAN TRAINOR, WIZ KHALIFA, WALE - FORGIVE ME FATHER.

Meghan can literally sing anything, to any beat, with any other artists. I mainly like

this because of her, I won't lie.

Favourite Lyrics: "I'm here to right my wrongs, I made a mess again."

So there's all of my favourites! Hope you didn't get too bored.. Thanks for reading!

Shawn Mendes - Illuminate Album Review & Thoughts.

Hello, hi and welcome!

One artist I've really been enjoying is Shawn Mendes. It all started really when I heard Treat You Better; I was never a huge fan of Stitches or the song he did with Camila Cabello, but when I heard Treat You Better it really got me intrigued with his second album which was released today.

So after listening to it this afternoon I thought I would give you my thoughts about it.

LEGGO.

RUIN.

I think it sounds like a John Mayer song to be honest, but that's not a bad thing - I like John Mayer! It's quite a slow song about speaking with an ex who has moved on and asking if they still think of him.

Favourite Lyrics: "I'm not trying to ruin any happiness but darling don't you know that i'm the only one, for ya?"

MERCY.

This isn't one of my favourites from the album but that's just my personal opinion. I think this song could be interpreted in more than one way, and not necessarily be about letting go of a relationship with a spouse.

Favourite Lyrics: "Even though you have good intentions, I need you to set me free."

TREAT YOU BETTER.

This song is the reason I started to like Shawn Mendes to begin with. I think this song resinates with people quite well, I've been in a situation where someone believed they can treat me better than the person I was with at the time.

Favourite Lyrics: "Give me a sign, take my hand we'll be fine, promise I won't let you down."

THREE EMPTY WORDS.

A really cute little song but not a favourite. A song about being in a loveless relationship and trying to make it work.

Favourite Lyrics: "It might be easier to stay, but it'll never be the same."

DON'T BE A FOOL.

A definite favourite of mine. At the beginning the melody reminds me of Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright. It's quite a sad song about someone who can't love someone properly because of their inner issues.

Favourite Lyrics: "Don't be a fool, and say that you love me. 'Cus you'll find a man who will stand by your side and be there for you."

LIKE THIS.

I connect with this song on so many levels. He can literally sing anything and it sounds poetic.

Favourite Lyrics: "I try to ignore you, try to go on with my day. But i still pick up the phone, get lost in what you say."

NO PROMISES.

I love this song and I've seen quite a few people tweet about it too. It's probably one of the most upbeat songs on the album, with an almost Spanish style backing track.

Favourite Lyrics: "Please no promises, because i know the consequences."

LIGHTS ON.

This song just makes me love Shawn Mendes, i can't help but think this song would be 10x better if he collabed with someone though.

Favourites Lyrics: "I wanna love you with the lights on, and hold you 'til the nights gone."

HONEST.

This song is literally just him and a guitar and i obviously love it. He basically sings about not being able to be enough for her. And its so.damn.cute.

Favourite Lyrics: "You deserve more, than i can promise and baby I'm just tryna be honest."

PATIENCE.

This song connects so well to a situation I've been in and I just feel like Shawn Mendes is my spirit animal to be honest. A song about someone who can't make their mind up whether they want to be with you or not.

Favourite Lyrics: "I always give in when you tell me lies to reassure me. I always make the same mistakes. Ooh, you give me a little taste, love me and then you take it from me."

BAD REPUTATION.

This song reminds me of One Direction - She's Not Afraid, the story line is similar not the tunes. A song about a girl who is known for the wrong reasons but he knows the real her.

Favourite Lyrics: "I don't care about what they think about you baby, they don't know what you've been through."

UNDERSTAND.

A song about how Shawn is coping with growing up and what comes with it. He also has a cute monologue half way through it and he's just so cute.

Favourite Lyrics: "I've been on this train too long, people getting off and on."

Least Favourite Song(s):

- Mercy

- Three Empty Words

Favourite Songs(s):

- Treat You Better

- Don't Be A Fool

- Patience

- Honest

Rating Out of Ten?:

8. Solid 8 for this album!

Buy it?:

I'm thinking of buying a hard copy from HMV.

Hello, hi and welcome! I hope you're all well.

So, my best friend Becky and I during our time off filmed some videos for her YouTube channel that are now live - sorry if you thought by the title that it was me who actually had a channel..

I shall give you a brief description of each video so you know what a little about each.

NEVER HAVE I EVER: That typical game you played as a teen(or adult with alcohol - it can get messy..) We sat and spoke about all weird and wonderful things from being scared to meeting celebrities.

THE BEST FRIEND TAG: We answer questions and discuss why we really are the best of friends and what makes us different.

THE WHISPER CHALLENGE: One of the funniest videos we've done, I really loved doing this one. We had to guess what the other was whispering whilst listening to loud music. *Warning, I shout a lot.*

WHOSE MOST LIKELY TO?: This video my third video we filmed together (I'll tell you my top two as we go on..) We just laughed a lot whilst we filmed this video.

LOUISELive VLOG: My number one favourite video eve done together. Becky and I vlogged the whole day together on the way to Liverpool, in Liverpool and coming home.

AUGUST SOURCED BOX TASTE TEST: My second favourite video we filmed together. I enjoyed filming it and tasting everything even if I did have a bit of trouble eating a few..

To subscribe to Becky check out her YouTube! She does vlogs, challenges, makeup, chatty videos - all sorts!

CATCH UP & AUGUST, SEPTEMBER FAVOURITE SONGS

Hello, hi and welcome! (I've missed writing that..)

So, first of all I apologise for disappearing off the face of the earth.. I had a wonderful summer with wonderful people and I am fully settled back into living back in Britain - yay!

I am here to stay(for now..) and I started a job which I am absolutely in love with. The people I work with are lovely which is good, there's no point working in a miserable environment!

I've had four great nights out, three of which I may or may not have been a little..incoherent but its fine, I'm fine, no one was hurt(except my pride).

On the love life front.. Well, let's all collectively laugh together shall we? I might do another post about how messy my love life and life is in general really.

Anyway, another thing I've been loving as usual is music and this summer I feel, was one of the best summers for music I mean, we've got the absolute banger of a tune Cold Water by the Biebs, all songs that involve Drake and obviously that Calvin Harris, Rihanna collab that got Taylor Swift trying to claim she needs credit on..okay.

So now I've caught you up, let's get on with my August and September favourite songs, shall we?

LEGGO.

FRENCH MONTANA FT DRAKE - NO SHOPPING.

It's very rare for me to like a French Montana song, but Drake absolutely killed his verse in this song. PURE FIRE

Favourite Lyric - "Next move better than my last move, your next move can't erase your past moves. Took her out once she got attached to him, ring, ring, CLICK! I'll get back to 'em.."

SIGALA FT IMANI WILLIAMS, DJ FRESH - SAY YOU DO.

I heard this song once and forgot its name so I literally searched high and low for it on the internet, practically writing all the lyrics I remembered into google to try and find it.. Once I found it I played it on repeat because it is the most perfect summer song! And the video makes me wish I was in Jamaica.

Favourite Lyrics: "Now you got the feeling that I'm slipping far away from you, and you doin' all the things I said you should do, but it only lasts so long like the setting sun."

TINIE TEMPAH FT ZARA LARSSON - GIRLS LIKE.

This song reminds me of my 21st birthday night out because me and Becky sang our hearts out to it while we were getting ready and its one of my favourite memories from this summer. Tinie always seems to come out with absolute tunes whenever he releases a song doesn't he?

Favourite Lyrics: "Tell J.k that I'm still rollin', tell Russell I'm a brand."

ZAYN - wHo.

I felt utterly betrayed when I found out this song was out and no one bothered to tell me. It's from the new Ghostbusters film and taken the whole 'Who you gonna call?' And switched it up because he's Zayn freaking Malik and he can do what he likes alright?! I love it, its very chill and easy to listen to.

Favourite Lyrics: "What's your fear? Let me know, if this dies, be my ghost."

M.O - WHO DO YOU THINK OF?

I liked these girls when they supported Little Mix on their 2014 tour, and I was happy to see they've released a song. The perfect summer song if im honest, real Caribbean vibes to it and I've had it on repeat.

Favourite Lyrics: "Only we know what games we both play, and the things you do to me that make me stay."

DJ SNAKE FT JUSTIN BIEBER - LET ME LOVE YOU.

Of course this was going to be on my favourites because a) its biebs and b) its a tune and a half. I must say, I prefer this song to Cold Water which were released quite close together. I don't know why I just prefer the vibe to this song more.

Favourite Lyrics: "Don't you give up, I won't give up, let me love you."

SNAKEHIPS FT ZAYN - CRUEL.

First of all, I always thought Snakehips were called SnakeSHIPS for some reason.. And second of all, this song is my jam. I have loved this for quite a while and I haven't gotten sick of it, and I don't think I will if I'm honest.

Favourite Lyrics: "Venus in converse, you put a spell on me."

PARTYNEXTDOOR - DON'T RUN.

I have loved partynextdoor's third album "P3", he is a lyrical genius in my opinion and I've enjoyed his album more than Frank Ocean's THERE, I SAID IT.

Favourite Lyrics: "Sent a message to my Instagram, you's a vegan but you going ham."

JUSTIN BIEBER FT BIG SEAN - NO PRESSURE.

I don't know why but I've just loved this song this past month or so, I've had it on repeat. It's easily my favourite song from Purpose.

Favourite Lyrics: "Last time we argued eight straight days, i learnt my lesson I got straight A's."

DJ KHALED,NICKI MINAJ,CHRIS BROWN - DO YOU MIND.

I love this song so much, I always listen to this song in shower..tmi? Soz. I found this song accidentally on Spotify and I'm so glad I did. Nicki's rapping balances out Chris' singing which I like, sometimes when there's more of one than the other the song isn't always that good.

Favourite Lyrics: "We ain't got forever and ever, you know, you know, you know, let me be the one baby you deserve better."

CALUM SCOTT - DANCING ON MY OWN.

I'm going to be controversial here but, I much prefer this version to the original by Robyn. I thinks its because I love acoustic music and stripped-down versions of songs. And his voice is beautiful.

Favourite lyrics: "Somebody said you got a new friend, does she love you better than i can?"

DNCE - TOOTHBRUSH.

I blame me liking this song on my sister entirely. She showed it me when I came home from Berlin as I hadn't heard it and for some reason I really liked it. I've also rediscovered my love for Joe Jonas from when I was 12. Although I'm not a huge fan of DNCE, I do really like this song.

Favourite Lyrics: "With your messed up hair and your feet still bare would you mind closing the bedroom door?"

JOJO FT WIZ KHALIFA - F**K APOLOGIES.

This song is honestly my spirit animal. I am so glad it exists. I am also so glad Jojo is making a comeback, I am ready for her to rise and for her album to come out next month.

Favourite Lyrics: (I love them all) "Saw it in your eyes, when you said goodbye, you didn't even try, so this time I don't care."

CONOR MAYNARD - CRASH(Cover).

Another song I think is better than the original..sorry Usher. When its slowed down down it feels more meaningful than when its a dance tune.

Favourite Lyrics: "Would you mind if things don't last? Would you mind if I hold on to you so I don't crash?"

WILEY - CAN'T GO WRONG.

I mean, I am not a stranger to UK grime which may surprise many. I haven't always liked Wiley songs though, but I do like this one and the backing track is siiiiick.

Favourite Lyrics: "I used to go and get what I'm given, now I go and get what I'm worth."

ZARA LARSSON - AINT MY FAULT.

I didn't think I would like this song at first but after a few listens I loved it. I really like how unique Zara's voice is. I've loved her since she released Uncover back in 2013. I'm really excited for her debut album.

Favourite Lyrics: "I don't mean to be rude but I look so damn good on 'ya."

ANNE-MARIE - ALARM.

This is an absolute tune, I heard this whilst I was at work and was like "I need to remember the name to this to add on my Spotify when I'm home later" and ever since I've listened to it about a hundred times a day.

Favourite lyrics: "I was so intrigued by your style boy, always been a sucker for a wild boy."

JAMES ARTHUR - SAY YOU WON'T LET GO.

James Arthur is one of my favourite male singers so I'm so glad he's making a comeback, his debut album is still in my top ten most played on my iTunes - my favourite songs are Suicide and Roses Ft Emeli Sande. Anyway, I haven't met anyone who has disliked this song yet. It's truly beautiful as well as the music video. I can see myself still loving this song in years to come, its timeless.

Favourite lyrics: "I met you in the dark, you lit me up. You made me feel as though I was enough."

HAILEE STEINFELD Ft GREY & ZEDD - STARVING.

Ever since I saw her promoting this I got excited just because I loved her EP 'HAIZ'. I love the tempo change on this song, it isn't the typical Zedd song.

Favourite lyrics: "Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn Zoo."

SHAWN MENDES - DON'T BE A FOOL.

I have loved Treat You Better so when I saw he released this I thought I would give it a listen and I instantly fell in love. If you haven't noticed there is a definite theme of me loving acoustic/slow songs recently.. This song is quite relatable for many people i think. It's a different perspective to a break-up, or some type of relationship coming to an end.

Favourite lyrics: "Don't waste your time tryna pull me in, 'cus I'm just a mess you don't wanna fix."

So there! My favourites and a brief catch up. Hope you've enjoyed!
