Top Ten: Albums of all time..

So I saw my friend Becky(http://beccksss.blogspot.co.uk/) write this post and thought I'd give it a go too. When it comes to music I think I'm pretty open minded about most artists and don't mind listening to some heavy words from Yeezy, but I also like some sweet words from Ariana..

So I decided to (try) and list my top ten albums of all time. It took me a while to whittle it down, and I'm forever changing my mind so to have actually end up with ten was a miracle.

So let's go..

TEN:

Adele - 21. Released: January 2011.

I don't know how Adele's album can't be on anyone's favourite albums list. Every song connects with someone some way and she knows how to make you cry. I'm very proud she's British and got to witness her legacy taking place not just here but in the US.

She will forever be one of my favourite artists simply because her voice is pure gold. She's definitely on my bucket list to see live one day.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Turning tables
- Rumour has it
- Found a boy (bonus track)

Favourite lyric from the album:
'Next time I'll be braver, I'll be my own savior, standing on my own two feet.' - Turning tables.

NINE:

Lana Del Rey - Born to Die(The Paradise Edition). Released: January 2012.

Lana Del Rey is an artist that you love or loathe, that I understand. BUT I love her, a lot. She's different yet beautiful. She doesn't need gimmicks or fancy dancers to make her look good, her voice is everything.

A lot of people are a little shocked for some reason when I say she's one of my favourite female artists but why not? She's talented beyond belief and if you haven't listened to her Born To Die album then shame on you.(Ultraviolence was also nearly on this list).

Favourite 3 songs:
- National anthem
- American
- Off to the races

Favourite lyric from the album:
'Red, white, blue is in the sky. Summer's in the air and baby, heaven's in your eyes.' - National anthem.

EIGHT:

Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour. Released: May 2014.

He is my favourite thing about 2014. I was so glad he got the recognition he deserved at the VMA's and is continuing to do so.

There is not one song I dislike of his, choosing three was extremely difficult. He could sing the mcdonalds menu and I'd probably buy the single. He can do no wrong and that is why he is number 8.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Not in that way
- Life support
- Leave your lover

Favourite lyric from the album:
'I don't have much to give but i don't care for gold, what use is money when you need someone to hold' - Leave your lover.

SEVEN:

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black. Released: October 2006.

One of the best female artists to ever come out of the UK in my opinion. I have all of her albums on cd but only this on my iTunes and that makes me sad. Her voice calms me and there isn't any time of day I couldn't listen to her music.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Love is a losing game
- He can only hold her
- Tears dry on their own

Favourite lyric from the album:
'Played out by the band, love is a losing hand. More than I could stand, love is a losing hand.' - Love is a losing game.

SIX:

Ed Sheeran - + Released: September 2011.

This guy couldn't not be in my top 10. He's also one of my favourite male artists ever, although I love his new album X, + will forever be my favourite album, plus each song has a personal memory for me which makes it even more special for me.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Wake me up
- Lego house
- Kiss me

Favourite lyric from the album:
'..And then you'd lie with me 'til I fall asleep, and flutter eye lash on my cheek between the sheets.' - Wake me up.

FIVE:

Beyonce - B'day. Released:  September 2006.

How could queen bee NOT be in my top 10?! If I could, I'd put all of her albums but I only chose one. B'day was the second album I'd ever bought(I usually got albums for Christmas) so it will always hold a special place in my heart(soppy).

Favourite 3 songs:
- Resentment
- Irreplaceable
- Freakum dress

Favourite lyric from the album:
'I know she was attractive but, I was here first.' - Resentment

FOUR:

NeYo - Because of You. Released: May 2007.

Ne Yo always remind me of my dad as my dad would always play his songs in his car, this album especially and because of that I've chosen this album. I still listen to it from time to time.

I think this album was the best of Ne Yo - it was when he was doing classic RnB rather than his more dance music that he does now.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Do you
- Go on girl
- Because of you

Favourite lyric from the album:
'And I don't mean to interrupt your life, I  just wonder do I ever cross your mind?' - Do you.

THREE:

Jojo - The High Road. Released: October 2006.

Jojo was my idol when I was younger. I thought I was going to grow up to be just like her, I'd have her hair, voice and style - she was everything. I remember getting this album for Christmas and crying because I was so happy I got it.

Jojo is one of my favourite singers of all time who I wish would do a come back tour so I could go OR release new music(even better option). I miss her in the music industry, but at the same time if she had continued she'd probably have wasted her talent and gone into making videos showing her ass to keep in the business. Either way I still love her and this album forever.

Favourite 3 songs:
- The way you do me
- Let it rain
- Like that

Favourite lyrics from the album:
'It's stormin, at least wait till the rain stops, If ya leave there'll be no one to keep me warm here.' - Like that

TWO:

One Direction - FOUR. Released: November 2014.

My favourite 5 boys, they had to be number 2 at least. It was almost, ALMOST Take Me Home but Four just beat it. Although it only came out last year it had to be number 2, not because it's One Direction but because in each song you can hear how much they've grown and developed, the lyrics are more mature, their vocals are stronger and it's a great album all in all.

I guarantee even if you don't like them, there will be at least one song you'll like on this album.

Favourite 3 songs:
- Change your ticket
- Illusion
- Stockholm syndrome

Favourite lyric from the album:
'But believe me, I'm not trying to deceive you, I promise falling for me won't be a mistake.' - Illusion

ONE:

Rihanna - Loud. Released: November 2010.

This HAD to be number 1 for me. She's my favourite female artist ever. I've seen her live 4 times and I don't even think that's enough.

This album basically made my 2010, and whenever I hear a song from it I always think of a memory, for example when I saw Rihanna on her Loud tour, during Only Girl she pointed at me(I was front row) whether or not she was actually pointing at me is another question but the fact she did made my life.

I can't wait for her to release R8. I am ready Rihrih.
#Rihnavyordie

Favourite 3 songs(took me like 20 minutes to decide):

- Complicated
- Man down
- California king bed

Favourite lyric from the album:
'Why is everything with you so complicated? Why do you make it so hard to love you oh I hate it, if you really wanna be alone I, will throw my hands up 'cause baby I tried, everything with you is so complicated.' - Complicated.

So, there you have it, my top 10 favourite albums of all time. Hope you enjoyed reading.

Until next time,

Natalie xx
