Now unless you've been living under a rock on the moon you will have at some point heard one of their songs. If not, imagine Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars had a child - they would be it.
So here goes..
Let The Road.
Interesting accapella song that I wasn't too sure about at first but listening to it a couple of times it's really grown on me.
Wait On Me.
A single of theirs that I've always liked, a cheeky song about loving you some more(which I'd be alright with).
Appreciated.
One of my favourites, cute ballad that I definitely will not be dancing to in my pyjamas..(I will).
Beautiful excuses.
Love, love, love. Jake really shows how well he can actually sing and proves yet again that Rixton need to be 2015's next big thing.
Me And My Broken Heart.
Their first single, great song for a BBQ, or singing into your mirror whilst you put on makeup which I definitely do not do. (Another lie, sorry).
Hotel Ceiling.
Written by the babe that is Ed Sheeran. It doesn't really sound like a Ed Sheeran song(that isn't a criticism) but there's definitely an Ed vibes about it. Another favourite of mine, also the music video to it has quite a plot twist..(check it out).
I Like Girls.
This song needs to be a single. Please. This is the kind of song I'll listen to whilst driving on a hot day with the windows down.
Speakerphone.
My least favourite song I think, it's very similar to Payphone - Maroon 5 in my opinion. Cracking vocals though, as per.
We All Want The Same Thing.
Sung in a high note that I am not able to hit. Quite a funky tune, another BBQ song.
Whole.
Jake yet again shows off his vocal ability in this song and I could probably listen to it 100 times a day. Not your typical boyband song and I'm okay with that 100%.
Rating out of 10: 8.5
Favourite song(s): Hotel Ceiling, Whole & Appreciated.
Least favourite song(s): Speakerphone.
Overall review: Everyone needs to buy this album, definitely going to be on repeat this summer.
Thanks for reading! Until next time..
