REVIEW: Selena Gomez - Revival.

Hello, hi and welcome! So the past few months I've really been loving Selena Gomez's new music, I think she's really grown into what she likes and is confident with what she writes.

So, I was quite excited about her new album being released to hear everything she'd worked so hard on(and also to see if she'd written hundreds of songs about Biebs which she hasn't).

After listening to it over and over I thought I'd review it in case you wanted to have a listen but weren't sure.

1. REVIVAL

Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it. I think it's really a song to say 'up yours, this is me.'

2. KILL EM WITH KINDNESS

I think this song will have to grow on me, I can imagine having pre-drinks to it though and that's something.

3. HANDS TO MYSELF

Really like this, quite different for her but I do genuinely like it.

4. SAME OLD LOVE

I've loved this song ever since she released it. It was one of my favourite songs in September, and perhaps one of my favourites of this year.

I listened to it a lot in Spain so every time I hear it I think of Spain(which kind of depresses me now). I don't know why I love it so much, something about it. 

5. SOBER

This song sounds like if Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato wrote a song together this is what it would sound like.(That's a good thing).

6. GOOD FOR YOU FT A$AP ROCKY

I didn't like this song at first because I'm not a fan of the video but listening to it without watching the music video is actually better(sorry Sel).

7. CAMOUFLAGE

Another new favourite for me. Slow and sweet. I have a feeling Biebs inspired this song maybe, but either way it's in my top five favourites.

8. ME & THE RHYTHM

Really love this too, within thirty seconds I fell in love with this song, it reminds me of summer in a weird way. It just has summer vibes.

9. SURVIVORS

Probably my least favourite song on the album, I just don't connect with it that well.

10. BODY HEAT

Feels like Come & Get It part 2. This has such a JLo vibe to it; I LOVE IT.

 I'm going to dance to this whether it's whilst pre-drinking, doing my makeup, putting away dishes or just because it's a Tuesday. LOVE.

11. RISE

I like this song, it's so chill and not a song you'd expect to come from Selena Gomez. If I went to the gym(hahahahah) I can imagine I'd put this on to motivate me.

12. ME & MY GIRLS

When I read the title I instantly thought of Fifth Harmony's song(if you know it then you know). Thankfully, it's nothing like that.  

This song is definitely a pre-drinking song, it just makes you want to dance and kind of has a Pussycat Dolls vibe to it.

13. NOBODY

Love it, I hope this is a single - it deserves to be one a hundred percent. PLEASE

14. PERFECT

No, it's not a cover of the new One Direction song calm down. This is for anyone who's jealous of their partners ex or if your ex has moved onto someone new. I feel you Selena, I do.

15. OUTTA MY HANDS(LOCO)

I like her voice on this song, she's definitely worked on it for this album and it makes me so happy. 

16. COLOGNE 

Cute song, cute message. It's all lovey dovey and I love it. (I've used love a lot for this review).

9.5, there's only 1 song I dislike, how could I rate it any lower?!

So there you have it! I'm also going to be reviewing Demi Lovato's new album 'Confident' and Tori Kelly's album 'Unbreakable Smile' in the upcoming weeks so that's something to watch out for.
