BLOGMAS: Day 3.

Today I woke up feeling clammy and hot, I wasn't sweaty, but that sticky heat that makes you uncomfortable.

I read last night on Twitter that David Cameron and his lot have given the go ahead to bomb Syria.

I, personally feel saddened by this. A couple of weeks ago people were mourning over the losses in Paris, now they're celebrating the fact that bombs will be sent to another country which will cause more losses.

But we won't hear about that in the media, will we? We won't be seeing celebrities tweet it, or people change their profile photos to the Syrian flag - yes, I did this for Paris but I would change mine to a Syrian flag IF Facebook gave the option.

People seem to think that bombing Syria will change things, but it will only makes things worse. ISIS is NOT a place, you can't look up ISIS on google maps, or tap it into a satnav, that's like attempting to bomb the KKK. They're a selection of people, NOT a country. Yes, they may be primarily in Syria but there are 30,000 members of ISIS currently and they are said to be in power of 5-10million people.

So tell me David Cameron, how will your bombs defeat them?

Enough about that scary topic.

For breakfast I had sage & honey tea again.

I didn't do much with my day if I'm honest, I lay in bed drinking tea and water whilst watching Gavin and Stacey.

If you don't know what Gavin and Stacey is, it's a British comedy about a long-distance relationship between a guy called Gavin who lives in Essex(South England), and a woman called Stacey who is from Barry Island in Wales. It is written by James Corden and his co-star Ruth Jones, they star as Gavin and Stacey's friends, Smithy and Nessa.

I fell asleep watching it however, and slept for around three hours. When I woke up the sun started to set, and as always, I took a photo:

Isn't it just so pretty?

I love living here in Berlin. Ever since I moved to Berlin I have really found myself, I know that may sound cheesy or corny but I have. I'm much more relaxed over here, and I've learnt so much since August, not just about looking after a child(always a learning process), but also about myself. I've also learnt how to deal with people and situations.

I feel like moving to Berlin I really came into my own, I've really learnt about life here.

Enough of the mushy stuff..

I spent a lot of my time on Tumblr this afternoon.

I don't know if anyone does this, but I go through phases of how I want to style my tumblr, sometimes I want just square posts, or black and white posts. At the moment I'm going through a phase of loving pastel blues, lilacs and pinks.

After spending most of my day either in bed or on social media, I decide to eat as I haven't had anything substantial in 48 hours.

It was just quinoa with vegetables.

I used:

- 100g of quinoa
- 2 carrots
- 1 leek
- 2 parnips
- black pepper

I wasn't aiming to make the most tasteful dish, I just needed something filling, warm and nothing too offensive to my stomach as it's still recovering from being sick.

The rest of my night will be going as follows:

- Bathe
- Make a sage & honey tea
- Read for half an hour
- Sleep

Not a very crazy day BUT my mum flies out tomorrow and I am super excited. Hopefully she gives me adrenaline to feel better.

Thanks for reading,

Natalie xx
