THE BIG TWO ZERO - PART TWO(Final part)

Hello, hi and welcome! I am now writing my first blog post as a twenty year old(but in my head I am forever fifteen).

I have had a wonderful birthday, it's been filled with nothing but love from everyone I love, and happiness. If we're talking technical; I started my birthday watching the funniest video collage that Becky had made for me at midnight. It was a mixture of car videos, snapchats, dubsmashes and videos from her laptop that she'd put together of us, mainly me being weird and crying/singing One Direction. And for that, I thank you Becky - it made me cry with laughter.

I woke up to this:

I did eat something too but I didn't take a photo of that. Mum brought this up, very cute and obviously in a 2011 One Direction mug(the FEELS).

I then got ready, I had selected a few outfit options but I didn't feel comfortable in any of them. I eventually went for a blue peter pan collar top from primark(couldn't find it soz), jeans from H&M(click) and these sandals: click.

I went to my brother and sisters at around 11am, where I was given a Pandora charm and a link from my dad.

I was really surprised when I opened these but I love them both a lot. The link to the clip is here: clip.

Then, I opened presents from my brother and sister.

Little brother Kayden, little sister Leah(just in shot) and myself.

I was given this plaque for my new place in Berlin(I move to Germany on the 10th!). I can't wait to hang it up in my apartment. I was also given this amazing cushion with both my brother and sister on - now it's just deciding whether to put it on my sofa or on my bed(or alternate).

After spending a couple of hours with my brother and sister, my dad dropped me in town where I met my mum, Becky, and I was surprised by Charlotte who was with Riley-James and Carter(my nephews). Charlotte's twin sister Rachael also came too with her daughter.

Presents from my mum:

Pete Pan doll from Disney store(click)
Jim Carrey 4 film collection(click)
Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna body mist(click)

All of these presents are sort of personal rather than the typical birthday gifts. The Peter Pan doll is because he's my favourite Disney Character(as well as Jessie from Toy Story but that's Pixar and I already have two Jessie dolls). I've looked and looked for Peter Pan dolls but I only ever seem to get Tinkerbell stuff *sigh*.

Jim Carrey has always been a favourite actor of mine, ever since I can remember really. I find him hilarious and there isn't one film that I hate of his(I've genuinely seen them all).

And THAT'S the way the cookie crumbles.(Bruce Almighty reference)

Lastly, the Reb'l Fleur body mist explains itself really. Reb'l Fleur is one of my favourite perfumes of all time along with Britney Spears: Midnight Fantasy, so I thought why not have the body mist to go with the perfume?(Obviously I won't wear them together).

I was also given the cutest paint prints from Riley and Carter:

It reads their names and ages. I need to frame this and find a spot for it to hang in my new apartment(cannot wait). Plus, LOOK AT THEIR ITTY-BITTY FEET.

My presents from Becky:

Like my presents from my mum, these also hold personal meanings too. The 'CHOOSE HAPPY' poster - that is actually up already - was given to Becky by Sprinkle of Glitter aka Louise Pentland herself AND it's even signed. WIN.

The mug is personally one of my favourite presents I've ever been given. It reads my name and then: 'complete idiot; joe sugg obsessive; spider killer; instagram queen; tmh harry lover; eyeliner professional(favourite bit); best friend.' WHO DOESN'T NEED A MUG WITH ALL OF THESE THINGS ON?!  Yep, already planning how I'm going to pack it for Berlin.

Lastly is the CUTEST keyring that I won't even use as a keyring because I personally think it's far too precious. I WILL find a better use for it. Inside there are personal charms that sum me up; an N for obvious reasons, a number 7 as it's my lucky number, my birth stone, a plane and a little 'happy birthday' gem. PRECIOUS I TELL YOU.

I was also lucky to receive presents from my Aunty Helen who at the moment is quite ill so I appreciate them that little bit more.

Mindfullness Mandalas(Book 7): click here.
I couldn't find a link to the One Direction money box(I'm sure you're all pulling out your hair in despair - sorry).

I have an obsession with these adult colouring books(I've mentioned it quite a few times). They are just SO relaxing and entertaining, I literally couldn't live without one anymore. The money box was a little joke but I will use it for all terms and purposes and have it on my desk in Germany. I take all things 1D related very seriously EVEN AT 20 AND WHAT.

After a chaotic time in Pizza Hut, Charlotte, Rachael and the children left and Mum, myself and Becky went for a Costa.

Mum got a cappuccino, Becky got an original ice lemonade, and I got a peach lemonade LONG LIVE STRAWBERRY LEMONADES AND DAMN YOU COSTA FOR GETTING RID.
We then had a look around the shops, including a sniff of the new One Direction perfume 'Between Us' which is out today - I wasn't a fan(I COULDN'T SMELL NIALL'S TEARS LIKE THEY FALSELY ADVERTISED ALRIGHT), Becky liked it though.

Becky and I then had a go in Urban Outfitters photobooth:

Who doesn't love a photobooth?!

Mum and I(well, mum - I was in the photobooth) found a dress that I'm helplessly in love with - mum too, and we've decided we're going back for it on saturday, look how pretty it is: oh so pretty.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made my birthday really, it's been fabulous and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it with anyone else!

Thanks for reading, it was nice to share my day! I'm not sponsored or any fancy business - simply sharing my cute gifts!

Until next time..

Natalie xx

P.s: I was totally kidding about the Niall's tears bit. I know they don't actually put his tears in.
P.p.s: I wish they did, then I'd buy all the bottles.

THE BIG TWO ZERO - PART ONE.

Hello, hi and welcome back to my blog!

So, tomorrow there's something rather exciting going on.. It's my birthday!

Yes, I shall be turning the big two oh, and I don't really know how to feel about it. Two decades, I have spent two decades on earth and to be honest, I've had a pretty amazing first twenty years, I can only hope the next twenty are filled with as many experiences, laughter and happiness(and cringe moments I wish to forget).

As my final day of being a teenager expires it's time for me to be a person 'in their 20's'. *Shivers* I'm going to have start liking coffee and complain about paying taxes now, aren't I?

I guess the child in me is sad, sad that I'm waving goodbye to what I've become so comfortable with, so happy with. I'm no longer able to blame my actions or words on being a teen. But instead I have to make mistakes and say "I'm in my twenties, I'm still learning."

There's a constant tug-of-war between leaving adolescence and becoming an adult, you want to be treated like the responsible adult you *think* you are, but you don't want to have to think about bills, or fill the car up on petrol, or get a job, but you still want to have money, and be with friends constantly.

Or if you're like me; act like an adult, talk like an adult but not yet completely be an adult.

Because, let's face it.. who wants to be an adult? I don't even think adults want to be adults.

Yeah, sure, at nine years old it's fun to dress up in your mum's heels or your dad's tie and walk around pretending you're an important business person, or play babies where you get to be a mum or dad, or play teachers with your hundreds of teddy bears lined up like your students.

But does this ideology of being an adult mean it's fun? Sadly, no.

And that's what I've had to learn this past couple of years; being an adult sucks.

But, growing up isn't all bad, is it? You get to learn to drive, go partying, meet new friends, experience college and university(or not, like me). You get to have actual adult relationships, make friends in your job, earn your own money, explore the world.

Growing up for me, has not been an easy ride(let's not get into it), but I can say I have met and made some amazing friends through school, college and traveling. I couldn't really be any more thankful for the friends I have made really.

Becky - My best friend, who has been there for the past three years more than most people and I couldn't appreciate her any more if I tried.

Gurpreet - One of my oldest friends, I've known her since I was around six or seven years old and no matter what, I know she'd be there if I needed her in any emergency.

Anjelica - Another old friend(who is currently exploring Thailand and I am very jealous right now), she's the most amazing person I have come across in my life, and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have had the confidence to do some things.

Dana - My accidental best friend, we were never really that close but after one sleepover(and a messy night out), a day of watching the High School Musical trilogy, Clueless and Candidly Nicole, scrolling through tumblr crying our eyes out at posts - we've literally become so close and I couldn't really be happier.

Minty - Where do I start with Minty really? She was my backbone in Switzerland, there for everything. She saw me at my worst - and my best. She taught me how to get free wifi in train stations, she introduced me to liking ice tea and showed me all the cute vintage shops in Zurich. If it wasn't for Minty I probably would have left Switzerland within four months.

Of course there are people I haven't included who have contributed into making me who I am today, but if I included everyone I would bore you all. I just wanted to include the most character building people I've met during my teens.

As of right now, I'm going to have my last bath as a teen and eat a bowl of noodles with tea. Hope you enjoyed reading! I'll be uploading a 'THE BIG TWO ZERO - PART TWO' post telling you about my day, what presents I received and what happened during the day generally.

Put this in simply because it's my favourite ever photo of Becky and I, it literally makes me laugh every time I see it.

Until next time.. (when I am OLD).
